Sunday marked a very special milestone for our U10 girls as they proudly pulled on the Tramore Basketball Club jersey for the very first time as a team, welcoming Waterford Wildcats to the hall. It was a brilliant afternoon of basketball, with an amazing turnout from the girls and fantastic support from parents and families, creating a real buzz courtside.
For many of the players, this was their first experience representing the club on game day, and they did so with smiles, enthusiasm and great pride. The progress shown—from confidence in movement to teamwork and effort—was a joy to watch and a real credit to the work being done week in, week out at training.
Coaches Lisa and Miriam were understandably delighted with the group, praising not just their development on the court, but also how they represented the club in terms of attitude, respect and support for one another. Their journey so far is a perfect example of what our club stands for: creating a positive, encouraging environment where players can grow, enjoy the game and feel part of something bigger.
This is only the beginning for this talented group, and we very much look forward to watching their continued development in the Tramore colours over the years ahead. Many more memories—and jerseys—still to come. 💙🏀
