Our U10 boys enjoyed a brilliant Friday Night Lights occasion as they welcomed Waterford Vikings to Tramore for an evening of fast, fun and spirited basketball.
Both teams played the game in exactly the right way — with huge energy, great sportsmanship and plenty of smiles from start to finish. It was a fantastic reminder of what youth basketball is all about: learning, competing, and enjoying the challenge together.
A sincere thank you to all the parents and families who came out to support on a miserable night. The encouragement was plain to see from the eyes turning to the balcony after every touch of the ball, and made it a special occasion for the players while adding to the atmosphere in the hall.
These two groups of players will no doubt cross paths many times in the years ahead, going head-to-head as they continue their basketball journeys. Thanks to Larry and the team for making the journey.
