Our U18 girls proudly represented Tramore Basketball Club at the National Cup in Cavan today, facing some of the top teams in the country.
The day began with a tough opener against a very strong Kilkenny Stars side. Despite the challenge, every player got valuable court time and the experience provided excellent learnings for the group as they continue to develop together.
In the second game against Killester — current leaders of the Dublin U18 league — the girls showed huge improvement, settling into their rhythm and competing with great composure and teamwork.
The final matchup against Liffey Celtics was a thrilling, hard-fought contest that went right down to the wire. The girls displayed fantastic spirit, determination, and togetherness, narrowly missing out in a close finish.
A big thank you to our coaches for their guidance and support, to the parents and supporters who travelled to cheer on the team, and most importantly, to the players for their effort, teamwork, and positive attitude throughout the day. The experience gained from competing at this level will stand to them for the rest of the season.
Well done, girls — great pride in how you represented Tramore Basketball Club! 🏀💙
