What a weekend of "Top 4" action across the league!!! Well done and thank you to our friends in Kilkenny Stars who have facilitated the Top 4 competitions on behalf of the clubs in our area board. A serious undertaking by Damian and the team.
Our u17 girls team rounded off their season progressing from the top 4 semi final to the final on Sunday! Unfortunately their last game of the season ended in a loss in that final to the KK Stars. It's been a great season from the U17 team finishing runners up in the league, runners up in the Cup & runners up in the top 4!
A super achievement enhanced given half the panel are underage again next year. Well done girls
Meanwhile the U12 boys continued their great run but this time just couldn't repeat their cup final with where they were beaten in the semi final of their Top4 by Portlaoise. Some great experience for the boys and more time on the floor for this big cohort. Well done lads.
The U18 boys also made it to the semi finals where they came up short against by Old Leighlin meanwhile the everyoung Mens team also made it to a Top4 semi final last night. Unfortunately they ran out of road against a St Pat's team whom they defeated twice in the regular season!
Lots of achievements. Lots of top of the table clashes and more to come with U11s, 12s, 13s and 14s all looking forward to their own Top 4 and AICCs to close the season in the coming weeks!
